MERIDIAN brings together a refined storefront, product and inventory management, customer order tracking, and secure server-side payment workflows in one cohesive ecommerce experience.
MERIDIAN is a fictional demonstration project by Veltolabs, built to show full-stack ecommerce capability. Nothing here reflects a real retail business, and no products are shipped.
Storefront experience
The public face of the store: a restrained, editorial interface that puts products first and keeps the interface out of the way.
The storefront home page shows the wordmark, minimal navigation, the “Everyday, considered.” hero, and the shipping, returns, and checkout-preview strip.
Minimalist, responsive storefront
Warm neutrals, thin rules, and generous space, designed to hold together from phone to desktop.
Product browsing and collections
Shop and Collections navigation groups the catalogue into browsable edits.
Product details and pricing
Names, categories, imagery, and rupee pricing presented on clean product pages.
Search and navigation
Search, account, and bag sit quietly in the header alongside the wordmark and minimal links.
Shopping cart and checkout preview
A running bag count leads into a checkout preview flow.
Customer account experience
Signed-in customers reach their details and order history from the account icon.
Administration
Behind the storefront sits an administrative interface for authorized users. Products and categories are created, edited, priced, and published from the dashboard, not by editing source code.
Inventory
Inventory is managed centrally, with quantities tracked per variant instead of one number per product.
Customer accounts & orders
Customers sign in to an account that keeps their orders in one place, with the status of each one visible at a glance.
Signed-in account
The shopper’s email anchors the account area, with sign-out one click away.
Order references
Every order carries a MER- reference that works on both sides of the store.
Dates and item counts
Each row shows when the order was placed and what it contains.
Order totals
Rupee totals sit beside the status labels for a quick scan.
Payment status
Labels such as paid or pending follow the payment workflow.
Fulfilment status
Confirmed or pending tells the customer what happens next.
Technology & architecture
MERIDIAN runs on a connected backend rather than a page of static content. In plain terms, this is what does the work.
Supabase
Database and backend services storing products, orders, and customer records.
Supabase Auth
Authentication for authorized administrators and customer accounts, where configured.
Supabase Storage
Product image storage, where configured.
Razorpay
Payment integration running in test mode to demonstrate the checkout workflow. No real money moves.
Server-side API routes
Sensitive backend operations, such as payment verification, handled on the server where implemented.
Responsive frontend
A storefront designed for desktop and mobile screens.
A customer opens the storefront and browses collections and products.
Product details, prices, and availability are retrieved from the backend.
Authorized administrators manage the catalogue, pricing, and inventory.
When an order is placed, it is recorded in the database.
Razorpay test mode demonstrates the payment workflow end to end.
Server-side verification and webhook handling protect payment-status updates, where implemented.
Integrations described here reflect the MERIDIAN demo build. Razorpay is configured for testing, and no real money moves.
